A strange call this morning. I was contacted by a company who represents someone who is trying to buy up all the Aeonworx related domain names. I've owned Aeonworx.com for a very long time now (2000 in fact!) and giving it up would be a pain in the neck for me. I know it's not a company any more but I don't believe that a member of the paying public is not allowed to have a .com.
Anyway, it was probably some ad company who spotted that the domain was up for renewal in January and was trying to lay squatters rights to the domain and its ancillaries (.net, .org etc...) Well, that's not happening as I renewed the domain this morning for the next 5 years :p Whoever it is can have the rest, I don't care. It's almost as bad as being attacked by a spammer! Sheesh! Anyway, to the person who's trying to get all the domains. Go ahead, but you can't have Aeonworx.com. I've had it for a very long time, and I have every intention of keeping it too. I am not profiting from the domain, and I'm not affiliated with any companies going by that name any more. If you want it, you are welcome to buy it off me for a not inconsiderable amount of money. I'm not cyber-squatting as can be seen from the registration details on the domain, and the amount of time I've had it. My email is at the top of the page, you're welcome to contact me. :)
In addition it's been a while since I've posted here. I won't deny it, Newt's passing hurt both of us an awful lot. I've been reluctant to post anything, as every time I looked at the last entry I just ended up remembering. However, we have taken on two new cats from the Cats Protection League. Their names are Molly and Sandy, and they have decided that one human per cat is quite sufficient thank you very much. As a result, Sandy has decided that I am his human, and Molly has firmly attached herself to Jo. As a result I can't get any where near Molly, and Sandy completely avoids Jo. Weird, but true.
